6. This product is non-toxic and tasteless, and has no adverse reactions to the skin.

The role of cutting fluid:

Lubrication action

The lubrication effect of metal cutting fluid (referred to as cutting fluid) in the cutting process can reduce the friction between the rake face and the chip, the rake face and the machined surface, form a partial lubrication film, thereby reducing the cutting force, friction and power consumption, reducing the surface temperature and tool wear of the friction part of the tool and the workpiece blank, and improving the cutting performance of the workpiece material. In the grinding process, after adding grinding fluid, the grinding fluid penetrates into the grinding wheel between the abrasive grain-workpiece and the abrasive grain-abrasive chip to form a lubricating film, so that the friction between the interface is reduced, and the abrasive cutting edge is prevented from wearing and adhering to the chip, thereby reducing the grinding force and frictional heat, improving the durability of the grinding wheel and the surface quality of the workpiece.

Cooling effect

The cooling effect of cutting fluid is to take the cutting heat away from the tool and the workpiece through the convection and vaporization between it and the tool (or grinding wheel), chip and workpiece heated by cutting, thereby effectively reducing the cutting temperature, reducing the thermal deformation of the workpiece and the tool, maintaining the hardness of the tool, and improving the machining accuracy and tool durability. The cooling properties of cutting fluids are related to their thermal conductivity, specific heat, heat of vaporization, and viscosity (or fluidity). The thermal conductivity and specific heat of water are higher than that of oil, so the cooling performance of water is better than that of oil.

Cleaning effect

In the metal cutting process, the cutting fluid is required to have a good cleaning effect. Remove the formation of chips, abrasive chips, iron powder, oil and sand particles, prevent the staining of the machine tool, workpiece and tool, so that the cutting edge of the tool or grinding wheel remains sharp and does not affect the cutting effect. For oil-based cutting oils, the lower the viscosity, the stronger the cleaning ability, especially cutting oils containing light components such as kerosene and diesel, the better the permeability and cleaning performance. Water-based cutting fluid containing surfactants, the cleaning effect is better, because it can form an adsorption film on the surface, prevent particles and sludge from adhering to the workpiece, tools and grinding wheels, and at the same time it can penetrate into the interface of particles and sludge adhesion, separate it from the interface, take it away with the cutting fluid, and keep the cutting fluid clean.
Anti-rust effect

In the metal cutting process, the workpiece is corroded by contact with corrosive media such as oil sludge caused by the decomposition or oxidation deterioration of environmental media and cutting fluid components, and the surface of machine tool parts in contact with cutting fluid will also corrode. In addition, when temporarily stored after workpiece processing or during circulation between processes, the cutting fluid is also required to have a certain anti-rust ability to prevent corrosive substances such as oil sludge in the environmental medium and residual cutting fluid from eroding the metal. Especially in the humid and rainy season in the south of China, more attention should be paid to anti-rust measures between processes.

Other functions

In addition to the above four functions, the cutting fluid used should have good stability, and there should be no precipitation or delamination, oil precipitation, soap evolution and aging in storage and use. It has a certain resistance to bacteria and mold, and is not easy to grow mold and biodegradation to cause odor and deterioration. No damage to painted parts, no harm to the human body, no irritating odor. No smoke, fog or little smoke during use.
