When drilling on a drilling machine, in general, the drill bit should complete two movements at the same time; main motion, i.e. the rotational motion of the drill bit around the axis (cutting motion); Auxiliary movement, that is, the linear movement of the drill bit along the axis direction to the workpiece (feed movement), drilling, mainly due to the shortcomings of the drill bit structure, affecting the processing quality, the processing accuracy is generally below IT10 level, the surface roughness is about Ra12.5μm, which is rough machining.

2. Serious friction, difficult heat dissipation, more heat, high cutting temperature.
3. Large cutting amount, difficult chip removal, easy to produce vibration.
4. The rigidity and accuracy of the drill bit are poor, so the drilling processing accuracy is low, the general dimensional accuracy is IT11~IT10, and the roughness is Ra100~25.
